  • "Twilight" costume designer Wendy Chuck looked back at her involvement in the film, 15 years later.
  • Chuck came up with the idea to create a family crest for the Cullens that was worn on their jewelry.

For the 15th anniversary of "Twilight," costume designer Wendy Chuck reflected on her work for the movie adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's best-selling fantasy novels.

"I did not know about the books until I read a script, then I started looking online for research, and I realized how big it was even before the movies were made," Chuck said.

Of course, "Twilight," became a global hit and led to four sequels released between 2009 and 2012.

In a recent interview with Business Insider, Chuck recalled her inspiration and vision for the characters' outfits, and what her experience was like working with the cast and director Catherine Hardwicke.
