WHERE ARE THEY NOW: Every 'Love Is Blind' couple from all six seasons
Caralynn Matassa
- "Love Is Blind" has had a few success stories in its six seasons, but more failed engagements.
- Season one's Lauren and Cameron are still in love, while SK and Raven reunited post-season three then split again.
Lauren and Cameron
"Love Is Blind" stars Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton met on season one of the reality TV experiment which challenges participants to date and get engaged before ever seeing one another.
They got married on day 40 of the experiment. It was also Lauren's birthday — November 16, 2018. They're still married today.
In April 2021, Lauren told Us Weekly that she and Cameron felt a lot of pressure from the public for their relationship to succeed. "You know, we're not love robots," she said. "I definitely think that we went through a period where it was kind of difficult, but it didn't take me long to snap out of it."
In August 2023, the couple shared a joint Instagram post reflecting on their most recent trip to Morocco teasing at a new project by saying they'd be sharing "more soon."
Amber and Matt
"Love Is Blind" fans watched Amber Pike and Matt Barnett's love story unfold on season one of the show, and they got married in November 2018. They're still married today, and Amber told Insider in July 2021 that they wanted no drama while filming their "After the Altar" episodes.
"We made it really clear that we wanted nothing to do with the drama. That's not our life," Amber said. So, they avoided interactions with castmate Jessica, who had previously tried to break them up.
In August 2022, Amber posted a couple photo on Instagram with a simple message of appreciation for her husband. "You're my best view," she told Matt in the caption.
A year later, they shared an Instagram post of their beach day together and told the world that no, they still weren't expecting a baby amid constant pregnancy speculation.
Giannina and Damian
Giannina Gibelli and Damian Powers made it to the altar on "Love Is Blind" season one but didn't get married because Damian said no even though Giannina said yes. On the reunion show and season one's "After the Altar," they revealed that they were giving their relationship another chance, but they split again in 2021, per Us Weekly.
Damian also appeared on Netflix's "Perfect Match" season one and left the show single. He and fellow season one castmate Kariselle Snow sparked dating rumors in June 2023 when they posted pictures of a cozy trip to Florida together, but Kariselle said they aren't dating.
Giannina is currently dating fellow reality star Blake Horstmann, who appeared on Becca Kufrin's season of "The Bachelorette," which aired in 2018. Giannina and Blake met on the Paramount+ series "All Star Shore," which filmed in late 2021 and aired in June 2022. In 2023, they revealed they're expecting their first child together.
Jessica and Mark
Mark Cuevas said he knew Jessica Batten was the woman for him as soon as he heard her voice during the first season of "Love Is Blind." He said "I do" on their wedding day, but Jessica couldn't say the same and left him at the altar.
That's where their story ended, especially since Mark didn't appear in season one's "After the Altar" special. To add more complexity to their relationship, rumors swirled that Mark had been cheating on Jessica, and she said during "After the Altar" that she felt like "an idiot" for being engaged to him.
Both have since moved on.
Jessica got engaged to her partner Benjamin McGrath, a foot and ankle surgeon from California, in September 2021. "I don't think it has quite sunk in, but I'm definitely floating somewhere on cloud nine," she told People at the time. The two married in September 2022 and welcomed their son Dax in June 2023.
Mark married his girlfriend Aubrey Rainey in September 2022, two years after getting engaged. They have two sons together, Ace and Axton.
Kelly and Kenny
After getting engaged sight unseen in the pods, Kelly Chase told Kenny Barnes she couldn't marry him on their wedding day in part because she wasn't as infatuated with him as she was with her ex.
Kelly's relationship status is currently unknown, but she appears to be single, per Instagram.
Kenny met his fiancée Alexandra Garrison at a brewery in North Carolina. He proposed in August 2020, and the two live-streamed their April 2022 wedding.
Carlton and Diamond
Carlton Morton and Diamond Jack broke up at the getaways stage of the experiment because Carlton didn't tell Diamond he was bisexual until after they got engaged. She threw her engagement ring into the pool and he called her "ignorant."
Both Diamond and Carlton appear to be single per their Instagram accounts in September 2023.
Deepti and Shake
Deepti Vempati and Abhishek "Shake" Chatterjee got engaged in season two, but Shake was hyper-focused on physical appearance during the experiment, as fans saw from the questions he asked women in the pod-dating stage. Deepti was unconvinced that Shake would change and questioned whether he actually wanted a marriage, so she dumped him at the altar.
Shake announced he was dating Emily Wilson in 2022, but they appear to have since broken up. He later appeared on E!'s "House of Villians."
Deepti had another failed "Love Is Blind" relationship post-Shake (more on that a few slides down) but found success hosting a podcast called "Out of the Pods" with her costar Natalie Lee.
Kyle and Shaina
Though they got engaged in the pods, Shaina Hurley ended her relationship with Kyle Abrams before they made it to their wedding day, but after he had met her family. Shaina's mind remained on another castmate, Shayne Jansen, who she'd also formed a connection with through much of the season.
Shaina revealed she was in a relationship on the "Love Is Blind" reunion special, and she appeared with her boyfriend Christos Lardakis in the "After the Altar" episodes. While much of Shaina's "After the Altar" storyline focused on her friendship with Shayne and continued friction with Shayne's ex Natalie Lee, she also announced that she and Christos were engaged on the show.
The two married in July 2022 and welcomed their first child in February 2024.
Shayne and Natalie
Shayne Jansen and Natalie Lee's relationship after they got engaged during the pods stage of the experiment appeared to go smoothly, at first. But after a few tiffs throughout the season, on the night before their wedding day, they got into a major fight and Natalie said "no" at the altar after Shayne said "yes."
The couple tried dating again after filming ended but broke up before the season two reunion special, which showed that tensions were still high between the two of them. The reunion was presumably filmed around February 2022.
The formerly engaged couple didn't interact at all during the season's "After the Altar" special, though they did speak about one another and their failed relationship with fellow castmates. Natalie revealed in those episodes that she had found what she considered to be inappropriate messages between Shayne and Shaina, sent while Shaina was dating her now-husband. Shayne and Shaina both denied that the messages were anything other than platonic, but according to Natalie, it was enough for her to cut him off forever.
In July 2023, Natalie revealed on her "Out of the Pods" podcast with Deepti that she has dated another reality star in the past. She kept his name private but has been connected to "Bachelor" Nation's Blake Moynes in the past. Per her recent Instagram posts, Natalie appears to be single.
Shayne also appears to be single per his Instagram account in September 2023. But he became a staple in the Netflix reality TV dating universe when he joined "Perfect Match" in 2023. On the show, he explored relationships with Chloe Veitch and Ines Tazi, but neither lasted.
Iyanna and Jarrette
Jarrette Jones and Iyanna McNeely had one of the (relatively) smoothest roads to the altar on "Love Is Blind" season two after the pods, though they did occasionally clash over their differing lifestyles. Jarrette initially had an interest in castmate Mallory Zapata, but remained committed to Iyanna after he proposed.
The couple announced their separation in a joint statement on Instagram on August 17 2022, about a year after their marriage. "We don't regret a thing!" the former pair said in their statement.
The season's "After the Altar" special, which was filmed before the two split, did show fractures in their marriage, including the fact that Iyanna had moved out of the home they shared because of Jarrette's frequent partying.
Their divorce was finalized in November 2022. In April 2023, Iyanna claimed on her "Feel in the Blank" podcast that Jarrette had cheated on her during their marriage, which Jarrette subsequently denied.
Mallory and Sal
Mallory had an interest in Jarrette in the pods but got engaged to Salvador "Sal" Perez and made it to the altar, where he told her he couldn't marry her in a moment that surprised most viewers. Mallory currently appears to be single.
The "After the Altar" season two episodes revealed that Sal was in a serious relationship with Chicago-based performer Jessica Palkovic, who he brought along to the cast's weekend getaway. Jessica appeared in a June 2023 post with Sal and friends, indicating that they're probably still together today.
When discussing his relationship with Mallory with his siblings during the "After the Altar" episodes, Sal also shed more light on what led him to break up with his former fiancée at the altar. He claimed that he'd seen Mallory in a car with another man while the two were together, which broke his trust in her before their wedding.
In a post-credits scene, when asked by producers, Mallory denied that the man Sal saw her with was anything more than a friend, saying that he'd misinterpreted what he saw.
Danielle and Nick
Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson only had interest in each other in the pods and made it all the way to the altar where they both said "I do."
Fans were surprised when People reported in late August 2022 that Danielle had filed for divorce from Nick earlier that month. The two later clashed publicly, with each accusing the other of making false statements about the reasons for their split.
They surprisingly reconnected with each other on Nick's podcast in May 2023 and are now friendly. Both Danielle and Nick appear to be single.
Deepti and Kyle
During the season two reunion, which aired in March 2022, Kyle told Deepti, "I should've tried hard for you," which was a surprise to fans who hadn't seen them have any kind of romantic relationship during the season.
The two subsequently remained coy about the status of their relationship, though they and their castmates shared photos that showed the two spending time together. In June 2022, Deepti told E! News, "I guess you guys will just have to wait and see what happens with our story."
In the "After the Altar" episodes, Kyle and Deepti's storyline revolved around their confusing relationship. The two both admitted they had romantic feelings for one another, but were uncertain whether they wanted to jeopardize their close friendship by trying to date.
The third and final episode of "After the Altar" ended with Kyle and Deepti deciding to give a romantic relationship a shot, but they announced their breakup on Instagram soon after those episodes aired.
In May 2023, on her podcast with costar Natalie, Deepti shared that she was "smitten" with a new man, but she hasn't yet gone public with anyone on Instagram.
Kyle got engaged to his girlfriend Tania Deleanos in April 2023, but in January 2024 he said on Instagram that he was single.
Zanab and Cole
After a season of squabbling, Zanab Jaffrey told Cole Barnett she wasn't the wife he needed in a lengthy diatribe when she said no at the altar. "You have disrespected me, you have insulted me, you have critiqued me, and for what it is worth you have single-handedly shattered my self-confidence," she told her shocked fiancé.
At the season three reunion, released in November 2022, they said they hadn't talked to each other since their wedding day and both seemed to still harbor pain over the split.
Zanab and Cole both appear to be single, though Cole said on a December 2022 episode of the comedy podcast "Nothing's Ever That Serious" that he went on three over-the-phone "blind dates" — with a "Bachelor" nation alum, an "American Idol" contestant, and an ESPN producer.
Bartise and Nancy
Nancy Rodriguez and Bartise Bowden had a rocky road on their "Love Is Blind" journey, but seemed to be headed in the right direction leading up to their wedding day.
Alas, Bartise said "I do not" at the altar, breaking Nancy's heart and sending her family into a tizzy.
On the reunion special, Nancy called out Bartise for spending time with an unnamed blonde woman the weekend after their wedding. The two then attempted, but failed, to remain friends post-breakup, according to their appearances in the season three "After the Altar" episodes.
Fans were surprised when Bartise announced that he'd welcomed his first child in an April 2023 Instagram post. The following month, he revealed on his podcast that his son's mother was a woman he'd had a relationship with between "Love Is Blind" and "Perfect Match," who he'd reconnected with after "Perfect Match" filming wrapped. According to Bartise, the two are not currently dating but have a friendly co-parenting relationship.
Nancy, meanwhile, is currently living her best life in New York City and appears to have soft-launched a new relationship in June 2023.
Alexa and Brennon
Alexa Alfia and Brennon Lemieux had one of the smoothest journeys "Love Is Blind" has ever seen. They're still happily married, marking their two-year wedding anniversary in June 2023, and Alexa even changed her last name and handle to her married name, Alexa Lemieux, on Instagram.
In January 2024, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child together.
"I'm so excited for one day when our child's like, 'How did you guys meet?'" Alexa told People in an interview announcing their big news. "It's like, 'Do you have 10 hours? Sit down, let's watch a few episodes.'"
Colleen and Matt
Colleen Reed was on the receiving end of Matt Bolton's fiery temper many times on "Love Is Blind" season three. But they got married on their wedding day, were still married at the reunion, and are still married today.
During season three's "After the Altar" episodes, their reveal that they still weren't living together a year after getting hitched raised some eyebrows. But Colleen and Matt finally moved in together in June 2023. They also appeared at the season six reunion, confirming they're still happily together.
Raven and SK
SK Alagbada said "I do not" to Raven Ross on their wedding day, sending her running from the altar in tears. Their relationship since then has been a roller coaster.
On the "Love Is Blind" season three reunion, which aired in November 2022, they announced they had gotten back together and were in a long-distance relationship. But almost immediately after it aired, the two announced their split via a statement on their Instagram stories amid accusations that SK cheated on Raven.
And when season three's "After the Altar" episodes premiered in February, viewers learned that SK and Raven were briefly engaged again when he re-proposed to her before the allegations became public.
"My world is completely different because SK cheated on me, and now our relationship is over," Raven said tearfully in video confessional footage at the end of the final episode. "It's so crazy to watch it back and remember my feelings then. I was so happy."
"I really was so invested in the person that everyone saw and everyone loved. That's the person that I saw and I loved every day, too," she added.
In February 2023, Raven told People she was dating someone new and wanted to manifest an engagement. It's unclear if she's still dating the same person.
SK's relationship status is currently unknown, but he appears to be single on Instagram.
Irina and Zack
Zack Goytowski chose to propose to Irina Solomonova during the pods stage of the experiment on "Love Is Blind" season four, though he also had feelings for Bliss Poureetezadi.
Irina had a "mean girl" reputation among the other women, and it stayed with her in Mexico, where she barely engaged Zach in conversation, flirted with other men, and struggled with her lack of attraction to him.
While vacationing, the couple decided their relationship was over.
On the "After The Altar" season 4 episodes, which aired in September 2023 and were likely filmed around May, per Decider, Irina revealed to Micah Lussier that she's single and not dating.
Jackie and Marshall
Jackie Bonds picked Marshall Glaze over Josh Demas in the pods. But their emotional maturity never matched, and on the day of his tux fitting, Marshall learned that Jackie didn't show up to her dress fitting.
Jackie broke up with Marshall before the end of the experiment and decided to keep her engagement ring. She also started dating Josh Demas, her other suitor on the show.
On "After the Altar" episodes, Marshall revealed that he's been dating nurse practitioner Chay Barnes since July 2022, and Chay appeared in those episodes with him. They celebrated their one-year anniversary in July 2023, and the two got engaged in December that year. Interestingly, Irina from his season, who's an event planner, helped him plan the proposal.
Paul and Micah
Micah Lussier and Paul Peden were each in the middle of their own love triangles during the pods stage of "Love Is Blind."
In the real world, despite the fact that Micah's friends in particular didn't appear to support their relationship, they repeatedly told the cameras they loved each other and were committed.
But at the altar on their wedding day, Micah asked Paul to speak first and he said that though he loved her, he didn't think it was the right time for them to "choose each other" for marriage.
On the "Love Is Blind" reunion, which was filmed and aired on April 16, Micah and Paul revealed that they tried to date after their wedding day but had since broken up. Then on "After the Altar," which premiered in September and was likely filmed in May, Micah cut off all ties with Paul because it was confusing to talk to him while he was in a new relationship.
Micah revealed during her appearance on the "Love Is Blind" season six reunion that she'll be appearing on "Perfect Match" season two.
Paul's girlfriend Geneva Dunham didn't appear on "After the Altar," but the couple went public on Instagram May 30. The two appear to still be together.
Tiffany and Brett
Tiffany Pennywell fell asleep while Brett Brown was professing his love for her in the pods, but all was forgiven and they became the first couple on season four to get engaged.
After one of the smoothest journeys in "Love Is Blind" history, the fan-favorite couple committed their lives to each other on their wedding day.
Appearing in the "Love Is Blind" season six reunion episode, Tiffany and Brett confirmed they're still happily married. Tiffany said they're currently househunting in Portland and have a trip planned to Japan in April 2024.
Kwame and Chelsea
Kwame Appiah and Chelsea Griffin had many ups and downs in their journey, which began with Kwame appearing to favor Micah over Chelsea in the pods before Micah got engaged to Paul.
But despite a storyline that included Kwame appearing to have cold feet, they became husband and wife at the altar. They confirmed they're still happily married today during an appearance on the "Love Is Blind" season 6 reunion.
Bliss and Zack
After breaking up with Irina in Mexico, Zack invited Bliss to meet him in person, and neither of them could deny their connection and physical chemistry. Though they had even less time to get to know each other in the real world than most couples on "Love Is Blind," Zack proposed to Bliss on a date and she said yes.
After a few difficult conversations with friends and family, they made it to their wedding day. Zack told Bliss that when she was "gone" because he chose another woman, he would stay up at night thinking about how her actions showed him she loved him. Bliss told Zack he was "everything" to her, and they said "I do" before sharing their first dance to "I Hope You Dance."
They celebrated a year of marriage in May 2023 and announced in November that they were expecting their first child together — the first pregnancy announcement from a couple who married on the show.
In February 2024, they shared a gender reveal video on their YouTube channel, announcing they're having a girl. Their baby shower, attended by some of their "Love Is Blind" costars, was even featured in the season six reunion episode.
Jackie and Josh
Jackie asserted herself on "Love Is Blind" when she broke up with Marshall and told Josh she wanted to be with him but couldn't commit to marriage.
While Jackie and Josh didn't appear in person at the season four reunion special, they told host Vanessa Lachey in a pre-taped video interview that they were still going strong and had even moved in together. The two later had some drama in the "After the Altar" episodes that aired in September 2023 — largely centering around Jackie's friend and fellow "Love Is Blind" castmate Monica Rodriguez, who had a failed engagement with Josh that didn't make it into the final edit of the season.
In a September 2023 Instagram Live (captured and posted to TikTok by Reality Ashley), Jackie confirmed that she and Josh had broken up. She said that Josh was upset that she had a conversation with Monica (seen on "After the Altar") when he had told her not to. She said she tried to apologize to Josh, even begging him to forgive her, but nothing could change his mind.
JP and Taylor
Season five couple Jared "JP" Pierce and Taylor Rue were the first couple to get engaged on the latest season of "Love Is Blind." But "Sugar" and "Sugar Butt" (as they affectionately called each other) didn't have much staying power.
JP became almost eerily silent during the Mexico getaway and eventually told Taylor that the reason he'd been struggling to connect with her was because she wears a lot of makeup, and he prefers a more natural look.
He called Taylor "fake," and they eventually parted ways.
In an October 2023 interview with E! News, Taylor revealed that she'd spoken to JP since the breakup, but they'd avoided serious topics they needed to address. They're each dating other people now.
Izzy and Stacy
After a few tense disagreements about their different lifestyles on season five, Stacy Snyder and Izzy Zapata faced each other at the altar on their wedding day, but no rings were exchanged.
Stacy told Izzy she needed more time with him to decide if she wanted to spend her life with him. Izzy appeared to take the news well in front of their family and friends, and they even kissed.
But during the October 2023 reunion, Stacy and Izzy revealed that they never dated when the cameras stopped rolling, and instead ended their relationship for good.
Stacy is currently dating a "Married At First Sight" star, while Izzy is set to appear on "Perfect Match" season two.
Milton and Lydia
Despite a significant age difference that worried season five cast member Lydia Velez Gonzalez and drama with their costar Uche Okoroha, she said "yes" to her fiancé Milton Johnson at the altar on their wedding day.
In October 2023, Lydia told Entertainment Weekly that she and Milton were in a long-distance marriage because Milton was relocated from Houston, Texas to Long Beach, California, for work. But they're still very much together, frequently posting cute couple pics on their respective Instagram accounts.
Chris and Johnie
Although Chris Fox and Johnie Maraist formed a deep connection in the pods, the pair went their separate ways on the show after Chris declined to get back together with Johnie after she initially broke up with him to pursue her other connection, Izzy.
But the pair met at the airport off-camera and showed up to the season five cast meet-up on episodes seven and eight together as a couple. At the time, they said they were in a serious relationship and Chris had even met Johnie's mom.
However, the exes confirmed they broke up on the October 2023 reunion because Chris cheated on Johnie with his current girlfriend.
Johnie hard-launched her relationship with her boyfriend Alex on Instagram right after the reunion.
"Hell was the journey but it brought me heaven," she captioned the post.
Chris, for his part, broke up with the girl he'd cheated on Johnie with at some point, sharing a post on Valentine's Day 2024 insinuating that he's single now.
Aaliyah and Uche
Aaliyah Cosby left the pods right before Uche Okoroha was going to propose to her, after Uche's previous relationship with Lydia Velez Gonzalez proved too difficult for her to accept.
Aaliyah and Uche met up outside of the pods on the show and appeared to end their relationship for good.
But at the October 2023 reunion, Aaliyah revealed that she and Uche actually tried dating outside the pods and away from cameras. She told hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey that Uche was a different person outside the experiment than the man she thought she fell in love with, and she and Uche ultimately decided not to continue dating.
She said she's currently in a relationship. Uche's relationship status is unknown.
Amy and Johnny
Johnny McIntyre and Amy Cortés were the first couple to get engaged on "Love Is Blind" season six and the only couple to actually get married.
The two confirmed that they were still happily together at the season six reunion, which aired in March 2024. The reunion even featured a cute montage of their first year of marriage, including goofy moments at home and their trip to Paris.
Chelsea and Jimmy
Season six stars Chelsea Blackwell and Jimmy Presnell had one of the most tumultuous relationships in "Love Is Blind" history. After many tear-filled, explosive arguments, the two finally called off their engagement in episode 12, right before the weddings, when Jimmy told Chelsea he didn't want to go to the altar.
They seem to be on decently friendly terms now, but the season six reunion didn't get into their post-show relationship. Apparently, Chelsea told Entertainment Weekly in March 2024 that she and Jimmy briefly tried to continue dating after their on-camera split.
"We tried to date for days after, and we really tried," Chelsea told EW. "We tried our hardest and it just didn't work out."
Ken and Brittany
Kenneth Gorham and Brittany Mills connected in the pods over their shared faith and similar values. But they split before making it to the altar when Brittany admitted she was missing that "crave" she'd felt for him in the pods.
The two were on good terms during the season six reunion. They confirmed they're not currently in a romantic relationship but told Entertainment Weekly that they're now "best friends."
"We decided the night of our breakup to remain friends," Brittany told EW. "He was able to come to my birthday dinner, and then I went to his."
While they're both currently single, Kenneth said he hasn't ruled out reuniting with Brittany romantically in the future and still considers her his "person."
Jeramey and Laura
Jeramey Lutinski picked Laura Dadisman over his other connection, Sarah Ann Bick, in the pods. Their engagement seemed to be going well at first — at least until they started bickering constantly and Jeramey secretly met up with Sarah Ann. They had a heated split before making it to the altar.
Jeramey revealed during the season six reunion that he's in a serious relationship with Sarah Ann, while Laura said she's currently dating someone.
Sarah Ann and Jeramey
After meeting up with Sarah Ann behind Laura's back — and the ensuing messy breakup — Jeramey admitted to Sarah Ann that he'd made a mistake not choosing her in the pods to begin with. They then rode off on Jet Skis together, which did not go over well with literally anyone.
Despite the backlash, the two revealed at the season six reunion they're currently in a relationship and moved in together back in October 2023.
Clay and AD
Amber Desiree "AD" Smith and Clay Gravesande were one of the most polarizing couples in "Love Is Blind" history. The season six stars formed a connection in the pods and had plenty of chemistry. Unfortunately, that chemistry wasn't enough to overcome Clay's hangups about marriage and his boatload of generational relationship trauma, and he said no to AD at the altar.
Their social-media activity while the season was airing seemed to indicate they were on good terms, but AD seemed to shut down any reconciliation attempts during the reunion that aired in March 2024.
Clay, who called AD the love of his life and admitted he'd made a mistake saying no at the altar, said he'd "1,000%" date her again and had been going to therapy in an attempt to work on his problems. AD, for her part, just said "next question" in response to whether she'd reunite with Clay. She was clearly still harboring hurt over their failed wedding and maintained that Clay had played in her face, knowing he didn't want to actually get married all along.
"I didn't want to, respectfully, be Clay's mom in long run," AD said during the reunion. "I didn't want that to be my story."
