Travis Kelce will not be attending the 2024 Grammy Awards this Sunday with Taylor Swift, as the Kansas City Chiefs tight end's mind is firmly focused on the Super Bowl.

During an appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show" on Wednesday, the NFL star confirmed that he will be skipping the annual awards show, which is taking place on Sunday, February 4, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

"I wish I could go support Taylor at the Grammys and watch her win every single award that she's nominated for," Kelce said.

"I got practice Saturday, but Sunday is a travel day," he added. "Unfortunately, I've gotta get ready for this big old Super Bowl that we've got in a week."

The Super Bowl LVIII will take place on Sunday, February 11, at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, exactly one week after the Grammys, and will see the Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers. A Chiefs win will mark the team's third win in five years.

Swift, meanwhile, could be in for a big night if her 2022 album, "Midnights," wins Album of the Year at the Grammys. She has previously won the award three times — for "Fearless" in 2010, "1989" in 2016, and "Folklore" in 2021 — and a fourth win would make her the artist with the most wins.

Fans hoped to see Swift and Kelce, both 34, finally make their red carpet debut at the awards show. The pair have been dating since last summer.

Swift has been seen cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs player at multiple games since September 2023. After the Chiefs won the playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens last weekend, she joined her beau for on-field celebrations.

Swift — known to be rather private with past boyfriends — shared kisses with Kelce in full view of the cameras.

Kelce might not be by Swift's side for the biggest night in music, but there is still hope that she will attend the Super Bowl.

The "Anti-Hero" singer has a scheduled concert in Tokyo on Saturday, February 10 — less than 24 hours before Super Bowl LVIII kicks off — but because of the international date line, she should be able to catch a flight from Japan after the concert has finished and make it to Nevada with plenty of time to spare before the big game's kickoff.
