Tom Holland says that he rewatches his first "Spider-Man" film with Zendaya so that they can feel like they're 19 again.

While walking the red carpet at the 29th Annual Critics Choice Awards on Sunday, the actor spoke to Extra about what it's like to watch his work after release.

"Zendaya and I will, every now and then, watch 'Spider-Man 1' and reminisce about being 19 and making those movies again," Holland told Extra. "It's such a luxury, such a gift, to be able to sit down and sort of relive your youth and watch those movies."

Holland readily agreed when asked if he's been changed by the experience of working on the franchise.

"I wouldn't be the man I am today without that job," the 27-year-old added.

Holland also shared that watching his work allows him to reflect on how he can improve.

"I sometimes think I'm my best critic — I really know what it is that I can do, and sometimes I'll see something and go, 'Damn, I really could have pushed more there,'" he said.

Holland and Zendaya starred in three "Spider-Man" films together: 2017's "Spider-Man: Homecoming," 2019's "Spider-Man: Far From Home," and 2021's "Spider-Man: No Way Home."

The two of them have been at the center of dating rumors since they first shared the silver screen as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and MJ in the first "Spider-Man" film.

In July 2021, Page Six published photos of them kissing and laughing in a car.

Months later, in November 2021, Holland commented on their relationship in a cover story for GQ's Men of the Year issue, saying they "felt robbed of our privacy" when the paparazzi photos came out.

A representative for Holland did not immediately respond to a request for comment sent outside regular business hours.
