  • Eisenberg, who portrayed Zuckerberg, earned an Oscar nomination for his role in the film.
  • Since then, he's portrayed Lex Luthor in the DC Extended Universe and reprised his "Zombieland" role for a 2019 sequel.

It's been 10 years since David Fincher's award-winning film "The Social Network" hit theaters.

The movie was released in October 2010 with a screenplay written by Aaron Sorkin, adapted from Ben Mezrich's book "The Accidental Billionaires."

The film, which went on to win three Oscars, starred Jesse Eisenberg as Mark Zuckerberg, the cofounder of Facebook who found himself in the middle of two lawsuits after the social media site took off.

"The Social Network" featured a stellar cast that also included Andrew Garfield, Justin Timberlake, and Armie Hammer.
