Cameron Crowe’s iconic coming-of-age film "Almost Famous" debuted in theaters 20 years ago.
The semi-autobiographical sorry follows a teenage music journalist as he tries to write a Rolling Stones story about the fictional band Stillwater.
The film helped launch the careers of actors Kate Hudson, Patrick Fugit, Zooey Deschanel, and Billy Crudup.
Other stars, like Jimmy Fallon, Rainn Wilson, and Jay Baruchel, had small roles in the film but went on to make it big in Hollywood.
It's been 20 years since audiences first saw Cameron Crowe's iconic dramedy, "Almost Famous."
Set in the 1970s, the coming-of-age film follows a high-school journalist as he follows the rock band Stillwater on their US tour while trying to write a story for Rolling Stone magazine.
