Vogue World 2024 took place in Paris, France, on Sunday.
The elaborate fashion show looked back at the past 100 years of fashion through the lens of sports.

The 2024 Paris Olympics don't start for another month, but the iconic games had an unofficial, fashionable start over the weekend.

On Sunday, Vogue World took place at the Place Vendôme in Paris on a cobblestone courtyard in the French square. The annual event is an elevated fashion show with live performers, and it's typically styled to reflect the location and time it takes place, much like the Met Gala.

With Paris hosting the Olympics in July, Vogue's show looked at the past 100 years of fashion in the context of sports. As Vogue reported, it focused on decades, honoring the fashion of each era through a different sport, such as cycling in the 1920s or tennis in the 2000s.

To match the theme, the 2024 show featured nearly 200 athletes and showstopping appearances from models and celebrities.
