The 81st Golden Globe Awards took place at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on Sunday.
"Oppenheimer" and "Succession" were the night's biggest winners.

The 2024 Golden Globe Awards marked major victories for some of 2023's biggest movies and TV shows, from "Oppenheimer" to "Succession."

But other than Jo Koy's controversial and groan-worthy monologue, the telecast itself was devoid of the kind of unexpected, meme-worthy celebrity moments pop-culture fans tune in hoping to catch a glimpse of.
