Well, technically, it was the second iteration of television's biggest night of the year: As a result of the 2023 Hollywood strikes, the <a target="_blank" class href="https://www.businessinsider.com/emmy-nominees-winners-list-2023-7">2023 Emmy Awards</a> were delayed, and held earlier this year in January.</p><p>The 2024 Emmy Awards brought in some new players: While it awarded familiar series like "The Bear," newcomers like "<a target="_blank" class href="https://www.businessinsider.com/baby-reindeer-timeline-fiona-harvey-richard-gadd-piers-morgan-martha-2024-5">Baby Reindeer</a>" and "<a target="_blank" class href="https://www.businessinsider.com/shogun-reviews-critics-game-of-thrones-drama-2024-2">Shōgun</a>" also racked up multiple wins.</p><p>Here are some of the best and worst moments from the ceremony.</p>
