Taylor Swift's longtime publicist Tree Paine vehemently denied that the star was secretly married to ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn during their six-year relationship.

Before dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, the "Midnights" singer was in a relationship with Alwyn from 2016 to 2023.

Paine took to X, formerly known as Twitter, on Thursday to hit back at speculation posted by Deuxmoi, an anonymously-run celebrity gossip Instagram account.

Paine shared a screenshot of an Instagram story that claimed Swift had a "ceremony" with Alywn in 2020 or 2021, and that "it was described as a 'marriage' by more than one person."

"Enough is enough with these fabricated lies about Taylor from Deuxmoi. There was NEVER a marriage or ceremony of ANY kind. This is an insane thing to post," wrote the star's publicist.

Paine added: "It's time for you to be held accountable for the pain and trauma you cause with posts like these."

Deuxmoi responded to Paine's comments in another Instagram story.

"Well I make zero dollars from lying... can publicists say the same," wrote the anonymous curators of the account.

"Also, to relate something that is in reference to something that happened years ago to 'pain & trauma' after what just happened seems like a poor choice of words. Either way, I apologize to Taylor."

Swift and Alwyn kept their relationship private for the most part, and only occasionally spoke to the press about one another.

In 2020, the singer confirmed that Alwyn helped her write two songs on her album "Folklore."

Before Paine's statement on X, Swift walked the red carpet at the UK premiere of Beyoncé's "Renaissance" movie on Thursday evening.
