Taylor Swift's newfound interest in football has been widely discussed and well-documented — but her focus isn't on the detractors.

Swift began dating Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce over the summer. In the months since, she has attended several NFL games to cheer for her boyfriend, including Sunday's match against the Green Bay Packers.

Every time Swift is spotted in a suite, she draws plenty of attention, including from the NFL itself. Her reactions are filmed so often that even Kelce said he thought the wall-to-wall coverage was "overdoing it."

"I don't know how they know what suite I'm in," Swift told Time magazine in a new interview. "There's a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don't know where it is, and you have no idea when then camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don't know if I'm being shown 17 times or once."

"I'm just there to support Travis," Swift added. "I have no awareness of if I'm being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads."

As Time notes in the cover story, Swift has triggered an upswing in the NFL's ticket sales and viewership this year, especially among young women. A game Swift attended in October was the most-watched since the Super Bowl.

"Football is awesome, it turns out," Swift told the magazine. "I've been missing out my whole life."

She also opened up about her attitude towards fame and the ever-increasing spotlight on her personal life.

"Over the years, I've learned I don't have the time or bandwidth to get pressed about things that don't matter," she said. "Yes, if I go out to dinner, there's going to be a whole chaotic situation outside the restaurant. But I still want to go to dinner with my friends."

"Life is short. Have adventures," Swift continued. "Me locking myself away in my house for a lot of years — I'll never get that time back. I'm more trusting now than I was six years ago."

Swift previously dated actor Joe Alwyn for six years before their breakup was reported in April. She was briefly linked to musician Matty Healy before she began getting to know Kelce in July.

The athlete openly courted Swift during an episode of his podcast after he was impressed by her performance on The Eras Tour.

"This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell," she said. "We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I'm grateful for, because we got to get to know each other."
