  • Timothée Chalamet's latest film, "Wonka," will premiere on December 15.
  • Ahead of its release, Chalamet has been spotted wearing an array of looks inspired by his character.

In "Wonka," Timothée Chalamet puts a new spin on one of the most iconic characters in children's literature.

The film, which will premiere on December 15, dives into the backstory of Roald Dahl's beloved Willy Wonka, exploring the origins of the mysterious and larger-than-life candymaker.

Since Chalamet, 27, is no stranger to daring fashion, it's no surprise that he's pulled out some bold looks to promote his latest film. Take a look.

Chalamet began his "Wonka" promo tour in Tokyo, Japan, in late November. For the premiere, he wore a monochrome look that could have been inspired by the signature purple wrapping of the fictional candymaker's chocolate bars.

The custom, light-purple Prada set had a plastic wrapper-like sheen to it. According to Fashionista, the look resembled several ensembles from the brand's Fall 2022 Menswear collection that were crafted using patent leather.

Chalamet completed the outfit with a pair of white Bottega Veneta Chelsea boots and a dazzling Cartier necklace.

For his first "Wonka" red-carpet event in London, Chalamet put a modern spin on Willy Wonka's traditional tailcoat suit.

Vogue reported that he wore a black-and-white pinstriped suit designed by Alexander McQueen, and he opted to ditch the shirt underneath.

Chalamet accessorized the look with a pair of chunky combat boots, Cartier jewelry, and black sunglasses.

Chalamet wore a magenta-colored suit made from a rich velvet fabric to the London premiere of the film.

The suit — which was taken from Tom Ford's Spring/Summer 2024 collection, according to CNN — featured a single stripe down each side of the pants and on the edges of the lapels.

Chalamet paired the look with chocolate-brown Chelsea boots. However, his standout accessory was the candy-inspired, blue-and-pink Cartier necklace. According to Vogue, the accessory was made out of 964 jewels.

"It's beyond anything I could have dreamt," Chalamet told the publication.

One of Chalamet's boldest "Wonka" promo looks included a sheer metallic top.

Chalamet dipped back into Tom Ford's Spring/Summer 2024 collection for his ensemble at the "Wonka" premiere in Paris, France, on December 1, according to InStyle.

The shirt, which was crafted from hundreds of tiny silver beads threaded into rows, was semi-sheer in appearance and slightly resembled crystalized sugar.

Chalamet opted to keep the rest of his look relatively simple, wearing black suit pants and coordinating Chelsea boots.

Chalamet said his most recent premiere outfit, which was also created by Tom Ford, was "chocolate-inspired."

"This is a Tom Ford, chocolate-inspired suit," he said. It featured deep-brown alligator pants and a jacket paired with black Chelsea boots and a skintight turtleneck shirt.

Chalamet completed his outfit with a gold bracelet and rings.
