A TikTok user named Niamh Adkins danced to a mashup of Taylor Swift's "You Belong With Me" and Cardi B's "WAP," and the rapper took notice.
Adkins posted a clip of herself parodying Swift's 2009 video for "You Belong With Me" on TikTok on Saturday.
In the video, Adkins, wearing a baggy T-shirt and oversized glasses, re-creates Swift's music video scene by scene.
But at the end of the first verse, she unexpectedly begins dancing to "WAP," layered over Swift's song. TikTok user @heyimjoshlol first shared the mashup of the songs on Saturday.
Adkins then performed the choreography from the viral "WAP" dance challenge while remaining in character as Swift.
Adkins said on Instagram that TikTok had removed the video — but that didn't stop Cardi B from noticing its creativity.
"I ain't saw that coming," the rapper captioned a retweet of Adkins' video.
Cardi spoke out about her love of Swift in 2017, after the "Cardigan" singer sent her flowers to celebrate "Bodak Yellow" earning the coveted No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100, dethroning Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do."
"Thank you @taylorswift for the flowers ... and I freaking love your music," Cardi captioned a video showing her flowers from Swift.
This post has been updated to reflect the original creator of the "WAP"/"You Belong With Me" mashup.
