A woman is suing the rapper Snoop Dogg accusing him of sexually assaulting her in 2013.

In a lawsuit filed in a California federal court and seen by Insider, the woman accused Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., of sexual assault and battery. She is also alleging a violation of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act. Snoop Dogg denies her claims.

She is also suing the rapper's friend Bishop Don Juan. She said in the lawsuit that she worked for both men as a dancer at their concerts and was paid in gifts.

The lawsuit alleges that Bishop Don Juan took her to his home one night and that she woke up to him turning her face before he "removed his penis from his pants and forced his penis into her face." The lawsuit said he "repeatedly shoved his penis" into her mouth.

She said Snoop Dogg entered the bathroom the next morning when she was inside it and told her to put his penis in her mouth. She said she "reluctantly complied" for her safety. The lawsuit said he then masturbated onto her.

The lawsuit said Snoop Dogg "sexually harassed, sexually assaulted, and sexually battered" her and subjected her to "quid pro quo harassment."

In a statement sent to Insider, representatives for Snoop Dogg dismissed the woman's claims. They named the woman — whose lawsuit identified her with the pseudonym Jane Doe — and accused her of a "self-enrichment shakedown scheme."

They said the "scheme" involved "concocting a legal complaint as an anonymous 'Jane Doe' plaintiff, and, knowing full well it can be a public document, filing this complaint late Wednesday, only three day before the Super Bowl."

Snoop Dogg is due to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday.

His representatives added: "Her attempt to use the courts to advance this scheme is shameful too, and does a disservice to real victims who deserve to be believed."
