On Sunday's episode of TLC's "Sister Wives," Kody Brown's son Robert "Garrison" Brown tells some of his family members that he believes Robyn Brown is the "catalyst" that turned his dad into a monogamist.

While discussing the family's issues with Christine Brown, his mother Janelle Brown, his siblings Gabriel and Savanah Brown, and his half-sister Gwendlyn Brown Queiroz, Garrison says how he feels about his dad's fourth wife Robyn.

Specifically, he says Robyn was "using COVID to make dad exclusive, and then turning herself into the victim and saying that it's our fault."

Brown says that he and some of his siblings tried to protest Kody and Robyn's behavior and stick up for their moms, Janelle and Christine. But when they realized that nothing they said would change anything, they stopped paying attention to Robyn at all, which she didn't like.

In the scene, the family members discuss an argument that occurred between Robyn and some of the older children regarding a gift exchange between the kids that they hoped could happen in person.

Robyn has the youngest children in the family and followed strict COVID-19 safety rules. She wanted the exchange to happen virtually. Many family members say in confessional interviews on season 18 that the argument quickly escalated when Robyn began bringing up old family wounds.

At the time the scene was filmed in spring 2022, Christine was divorced from Kody and Janelle considered herself separated from him.

Kody was estranged from many of his adult children and not making an effort with others, as confirmed by all parties (although they disagreed on who was at fault).

"This is us going, 'you know what, Robyn? Have him!' 'Cause we don't care anymore. We're all grown adults that don't need a father figure anymore," says Garrison, 25, who was estranged from Kody when the scene was filmed.

While Garrison's siblings agree with his version of events, Queiroz, who married her wife Beatriz Queiroz in July 2023, admits that the way her dad is treating her hurts.

"I think every kid needs a dad, always," says Christine, reflecting on the conversation in a confessional interview.

Kody doesn't respond to Garrison's words specifically, but he lumps his adult children in with his feelings about his estranged wives.

"All of you are just kind of jerks," he says in a confessional interview in the episode, reflecting on how Robyn has been treated. "I don't want to be around you. And I'm tired of it. And I don't want to call them, and I don't want to talk to them."

In her own solo confessional interview, Robyn says that no matter what she says or does to try and prove them wrong, some of Kody's children will always see her as the bad guy.

"Sister Wives" fans watched Kody and Robyn "spiritually" marry in 2010 in the season one finale, and then legally marry in 2014 so Kody could legally adopt three of her children from a previous marriage.

Robyn is currently Kody's only legal or spiritual wife. His three other wives, Christine, Janelle, and Meri Brown all individually announced the end of their marriages to Kody within 14 months of each other.

"Sister Wives" airs Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
