Taylor Swift once played Sandy in a childhood production of "Grease," according to an actor who said he starred alongside the singer.

Comedian and actor Tobin Mitnick recently shared snapshots of who he said is a tween Swift in a massive blonde wig and black outfit similarly donned by the iconic good girl turned rebel.

Mitnick is also featured in the photos, sporting Danny Zuko's greased-up hair and black leather jacket.

"Thank you mom for digging these pics of @taylorswift and I harmonizing like buttah on summer nights twenty five years ago out of storage," Mitnick wrote in his caption.

Although Mitnick does not caption where the musical was held, Swift attended Berks Youth Theatre Academy as a child and had roles in plays like "Bye Bye Birdie" and "Annie," reports say.

Mitnick also doesn't expand on his relationship with Swift, but in a Variety report from 2014, screenwriter Michael Mitnick told the publication he had an actor cousin named "Tobin Mantic" who briefly dated the singer in the seventh grade.

"He had a crush on her too," the screenwriter said. "They were in middle school. It was a very innocent thing."

Mitnick gave Swift's boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, advice if he ever wanted to recreate the musical with the songstress.

"Also trav the note is an f-sharp if youre interested," Mitnick said.

Per Mitnick, his starring role with Swift was never a secret — he had previously shared that Swift had starred alongside him in "Grease."

"I'm sorry why did this not get this kind of attention in like March when I told you all about it in a shameless attempt to goose my book sales," Mitnick wrote on Instagram.

Mitnick did not immediately respond to a request for comment by Business Insider.
