Netflix is putting out a casting call to turn fans into the stars of its hit reality TV shows.

The company announced Monday that it is now inviting viewers to apply for any of 12 reality TV series.

"Reality TV is a powerful genre," wrote Brandon Riegg, Vice President of Unscripted and Documentary Series, in the announcement. "It has the ability to make you invested in who is going to win the big competition or find true love (or at least a good showmance). It also has the ability to bring people together from all walks of life."

The announcement went on to say that this is "the largest reality casting call ever."

"We love to hear from viewers who feel inspired and accepted after seeing themselves reflected in our shows," Riegg continued in the announcement. "After all, what is reality TV if it doesn't represent real people?"

To apply for any of the 12 listed shows, viewers must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the US, Canada, UK, or Ireland. They'll need to submit videos of one minute or less.

"No need for ring lights or glam, just be the real you!" the announcement says.

Fans can submit video applications for multiple shows. Their options include dating shows like "Love is Blind," "Too Hot to Handle," and "Indian Matchmaking." They can also submit applications for hit shows like "Queer Eye" and "The Circle." For fans of cooking competition shows, there's "The American Barbecue Showdown" and "Nailed It!" Viewers looking for some tips for the home can apply to be on "Sparking Joy with Marie Kondo," "Dream Home Makeover," and "Get Organized with The Home Edit." The final two options are the game show "Floor is Lava" and a new series, "Roaring Twenties."

Fans can also submit applications by genre or select an option to be considered for all 12 shows. Viewers can apply to join their favorite Netflix shows at NetflixReality.com.

Besides growing its reality TV business, Netflix is also branching out into video games. The company said in a recent earnings report that it plans to launch video games on its platform at no extra cost to subscribers in the future.
