Naya Rivera's ex-husband Ryan Dorsey shared a heartbreaking tribute to her on Instagram

• Naya Rivera's ex-husband Ryan Dorsey paid tribute to the late actress in an emotional Instagram post Sunday.
• "This is so unfair... there's not enough words to express the hole left in everyone's hearts," Dorsey wrote in the caption of his post, which featured an image of Rivera with their young son Josey.
• "I can't believe this is life now. I don't know if I'll ever believe it. You were just here... We were just in the back swimming with Josey the day before," Dorsey added
• The actor went on to express his gratitude for his son, as well as the numerous well-wishers who reached out to him following Rivera's death earlier this month.
• Rivera tragically drowned while boating with Josey on Lake Piru on July 8. She was 33.

Ryan Dorsey, the ex-husband of Naya Rivera, shared an emotional tribute to the late actress in an Instagram post on Sunday.

Along with an image of Rivera and their young son Josey, Dorsey shared his disbelief and his grief over Rivera's death.

"This is so unfair... there's not enough words to express the hole left in everyone's hearts," Dorsey wrote. "I can't believe this is life now. I don't know if I'll ever believe it."

"You were just here... We were just in the back swimming with Josey the day before," the actor continued, adding, "Life just isn't fair."

Dorsey went on to express gratitude for his relationship with Rivera (the two were married from 2014 until 2018), as well as the fact that they had a son together.

"I'm thankful for our times and our journey that brought us together and gave us the sweetest and kindest smart little boy we could ever hope for," he wrote.

Dorsey also said he was grateful for his Snapchat habit with the "Glee" actress, which yielded "hundreds and probably thousands of snaps and videos that Josey will have forever."

"Life is all about good times and bad times but with Josey it makes the bad a little less so because a part of you will always be with us," Dorsey wrote. "He'll never forget where he came from. We miss you. We will always love you."

The actor ended his emotional post by thanking fans and supporters for their well-wishes following Rivera's death, and urged followers to "hold your loved ones close, and cherish the times you have with those you care about."

Rivera went missing on July 8 while boating with Josey on a California lake. Following an extensive search, her body was recovered on July 13, and authorities ruled her death an accidental drowning.

The actress, who rose to fame portraying cheerleader Santana Lopez on "Glee," was 33.
