Matt LeBlanc has broken his silence after Matthew Perry's unexpected death last month.

On Tuesday, LeBlanc shared an Instagram slideshow with scenes from "Friends," on which he costarred with Perry for 10 seasons. LeBlanc and Perry played one of the show's most beloved duos, Joey Tribbiani and Chandler Bing, respectively.

LeBlanc also included a photo of all six lead actors in a huddle, apparently taken when they filmed the finale in 2004.

"Matthew," LeBlanc wrote in the caption. "It is with a heavy heart I say goodbye. The times we had together are honestly among the favorite times of my life."

"It was an honor to share the stage with you and to call you my friend. I will always smile when I think of you and I'll never forget you. Never," he continued. "Spread your wings and fly brother you're finally free. Much love."

True to form, LeBlanc ended the caption with a lighthearted quip: "And I guess you're keeping the 20 bucks you owe me."

Perry was found dead on October 28 at the age of 54.

The remaining "Friends" castmates previously released a joint statement, rather than making individual comments or posts on social media. The five actors asked for time and privacy to grapple with the loss of their costar.

"We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family," the statement read.

"There is so much to say, but right now we're going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss," the cast continued. "In time we will say more, as and when we are able."

Other Hollywood stars have paid tribute to Perry, including Gwyneth Paltrow and Maggie Wheeler, who portrayed one of Perry's girlfriends in "Friends."
