After production was halted one week into shooting due to COVID-19, the costars were seen spending time together around Los Angeles.

Fox also appeared in Kelly's steamy "Bloody Valentine" music video, which further fueled speculation that they were dating.

They've since confirmed their relationship and opened up about their connection during their first joint interview on "Give Them Lala ... With Randall" on July 22.

Fox recalled learning that Kelly had joined the cast during a table read and having an immediate premonition that "some while s---" was going to happen to her.

"I was like, 'Who's going to play this role?' And he was like, 'Oh, we just got Machine Gun Kelly.' And immediately, I was like, 'Uh oh,'" she said. "I knew. I could feel that some wild s--- was going to happen to me from that meeting, but I wasn't yet sure what. I just felt it like, deep in my solar plexus that something was going to come from that."

Once they met on set in Puerto Rico, the actress said she immediately knew Kelly was her "twin flame," a term she defined as a soul that has "ascended to a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time."

Fox added, "We're actually two halves of the same soul. I said that to him almost immediately, because I felt it right away."

The actors have since returned to Puerto Rico to resume work on "Midnight in the Switchgrass" and were photographed walking hand-in-hand on the beach together.
