Kim Kardashian said North West dresses her sister, Chicago, for school: 'This year is the first time I've seen a glimpse that she likes her siblings'
- Kim Kardashian said her daughter North dresses her younger sister, Chicago, for school.
- "This year is the first time I've seen a glimpse that she likes her siblings," she said of North.
Kim Kardashian said her oldest child, North West, is stepping into the role of big sister.
On "Live with Kelly and Ryan" on Monday, Kardashian told Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest that her kids are back in school and that North actually helps dress Chicago.
North, 9, is "so happy," Kardashian said, adding that last year her daughter "hated to go to school."
"This year she loves it. She dresses her sister," Kardashian said.
"She was not a sibling kind of girl," Kardashian added of North. "This year is the first time I've seen a glimpse that she likes her siblings. She dresses them up. They have to dress alike, in the same uniform, and it's given me such joy."
Kardashian shares four children with her ex-husband Ye, formerly known as Kanye West. North is the oldest, followed by her brother Saint, 6; her sister, Chicago, 4; and her brother Psalm, 3.
Kardashian said her sisters' children attend the same school, adding that seven of the cousins, whom Kardashian described as "so close," are schoolmates.
Ripa suggested that North checks on her younger siblings and cousins throughout the day at school, but Kardashian wasn't convinced.
"My son's like that, I hope," Kardashian said of Saint, adding that she's "iffy" on North.
Kardashian described their morning routine as "madhouse," "chaos," and "amazing." She added that she loves their routine because she carpools "every single day."
Ye recently told ABC's Linsey Davis that he would prefer that his children attend his own private school, Donda Academy, named after his mother, who died in 2007. His and Kardashian's children attend Sierra Canyon, a private school that runs from prekindergarten through 12th grade.
In episode six of season one of "The Kardashians," Ye took their children to school in a fire truck.
"No matter what we're going through, I always want my kids to be around their dad as much as possible, just to have their mornings with dad and get dropped off at school," Kardashian said in a confessional during the episode.
