Kieran Culkin says he's looking forward to his time off from work to focus on dad duties.

The actor opened up about his upcoming plans in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter during the Sundance Film Festival.

"I'm really looking forward to it when I get home because the last couple weeks I haven't really been much of a parent, which makes me feel like shit and makes me feel like I'm not me," Culkin told The Hollywood Reporter.

The 41-year-old actor has had a busy January, winning a Golden Globe, a Critics Choice Award, and an Emmy for his work on "Succession."

Now, he's ready to focus his energy on his family.

"I'm going to turn the world off for about a week and just be a dad. 'Did you read the email?' No, I did not," Culkin said, adding that he will be doing "nothing at all, except just diapers and bath time and stuff for like a week."

He also shared that he doesn't have a project lined up after "A Real Pain," which premiered at the festival, so he can have some downtime to recharge.

"A Real Pain" tells the story of two cousins traveling through Poland after the death of their grandmother. Culkin stars in the film alongside Jesse Eisenberg, who is also the director.

"I get these, thankfully, these large periods of time where I get to just do that, and that's where I feel like I'm most me," Culkin said. "So I get to have that for a while because I actually don't quite know when the next job is."

Culkin and his wife, Jazz Charton, have 2 children: Kinsey Sioux, 4, and Wilder Wolf, 2.
