Kelsey Plum doesn't mince words — not even with the newest owner of her team.

When the superstar Las Vegas Aces guard spotted Tom Brady sitting courtside at Michelob ULTRA Arena for Game 1 of the WNBA Finals, she was quick to playfully taunt the legendary quarterback, who now doubles as a member of her franchise's ownership group.

"I looked at him and I said 'It's about effing time you showed up,'" Plum said with a smirk after the game.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion seemed to take the jab in stride. The two-time WNBA All-Star proceeded to imitate Brady while recounting the interaction; she tightened her lips, narrowed her eyes, nodded and shook her head, then proclaimed: "You already know."

Everyone in the room, including Plum, broke out into laughter.

It's not the first time the NFL icon has had a humorous public interaction with Plum. The all-time leading scorer in Division-I women's college basketball history barked at Brady when he watched one of her games last summer, and he responded by sending Plum a care package complete with a signed jersey.

After Sunday's game, Plum said she was "super excited for his investment in our franchise" and that she understands how much his involvement means for "the growth of not just us but the league."

"I joke around, but man, it's been really awesome to have him," she added. "And I know he cares and he has daughters and nieces who play women's sports, so he understands the investment that it takes."

Plum scored a game-high 26 points as the reigning champion Aces took down the star-studded New York Liberty 99-82 in Sunday's opener of the 2023 WNBA Finals. Las Vegas will host Game 2 on Wednesday and, should the Aces win again, they'll have a chance to clinch their second-consecutive title Sunday on the road in New York.
