Judy Greer says she occasionally forgets about her role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"I don't have a superpower, so sometimes I forget that I'm a part of the Marvel universe," Greer told Insider. "Although I would love for Marvel to give me a superpower at some point. Come on, guys."

The 45-year-old actress made her debut as Maggie, the ex-wife of Scott Lang/Ant-Man and the mother of their daughter, Cassie, in 2015's "Ant-Man." She also appeared in "Ant-Man and the Wasp," released three years later.

Marvel has confirmed that a third stand-alone movie is in the works, "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania," with Peyton Reed returning as the director.

Paul Rudd is reprising his role as the titular superhero, and fans can expect to see Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, and Michelle Pfeiffer back together.

Joining them are Jonathan Majors as the comic-book villain Kang the Conqueror and Kathryn Newton as Cassie/Stature. The latter role was previously played by Abby Ryder Fortson, followed by Emma Fuhrmann in "Avengers: Endgame" after a five-year jump.

Greer told Insider she wasn't sure she'd be part of "Ant-Man 3."

"I don't know," she said. "No one has reached out to me yet. So I'm crossing my fingers, because it's a really good time.

"Working with Peyton Reed and Paul and Bobby Cannavale is a little over the top with how much we laugh on set," the "13 Going on 30" star said, adding that they "ruined a lot of takes" because they couldn't contain their giggles.

For now, Greer said she was thrilled to see some of her past castmates thriving in the MCU. This includes Andy Serkis, who costarred in "13 Going on 30" and played the villain Ulysses Klaue in "Black Panther."

Greer joked that Serkis' role in "13 Going on 30" was "one of the last times we've seen Andy Serkis' full face as it was given to him," since he's known for doing motion-capture work in his roles in films like the "Lord of the Rings" and "Planet of the Apes" movies.

"I love that I got to work with him as a human being," Greer joked.

The actress also starred in the 2020 Amazon movie "Uncle Frank" with Paul Bettany and worked with Randall Park on "Ant-Man 2." Bettany and Park star as Vision and the FBI agent Jimmy Woo on Marvel's "WandaVision."

The delightful return of Park's Jimmy on "WandaVision" even resulted in fans rallying for the character to get a spin-off series.

Greer told Insider that she hadn't watched "WandaVision" yet but was thrilled that Park was getting the recognition he deserved.

"Randall's amazing," she said. "Couldn't be happier for all of his success."

Greer also said she knew Park long before crossing paths in the MCU - they starred in a pilot about 11 or 12 years ago.

"It didn't get picked up, and I just always loved him," she said. "And I thought, that guy is so special, and he's so funny and so talented and such a good guy. And I just was so happy when he kind of broke out.

"I think that if you're an actor in Hollywood for long enough, you're going to be in the Marvel universe," Greer said. "It's just going to happen. They make, like, half of all the movies and TV shows now."
