JioStar announces plans starting at ₹15 – here’s everything you need to know

Reliance Industries and The Walt Disney Company have finally completed the much-awaited merger of their media businesses. With this, Star India Private Limited has emerged as the new joint venture (JV) between the two companies.

Nita Ambani has been appointed as the chairperson of the JV valued at $8.5 billion on a post-money basis.

After much speculation about the website, the company has announced jiostar.com as the new hub for its digital content. The company has also announced plans for different languages, starting as low as ₹15 per month.

At present the company has offered several plans in standard definition and high definition, with more plans expected to be added in the coming days.
