Netflix took a big step toward data transparency this week, releasing an exhaustive report of the movies and television series its subscribers watched in the first half of 2023, calculated by viewing hours.
The report, titled "What We Watched: A Netflix Engagement Report" is the first of what the streamer promises to be a biannual look at what people are (and aren't) watching on the platform.
The list includes viewership data on more than 18,000 titles and reveals the number of hours each was viewed between January and June 2023.
According to Netflix, the report represents 99% of all viewing on Netflix, and a total of nearly 100 billion hours of watch time.
