  • Jason Kelce's watch at his retirement press conference was an ode to his Super Bowl win.
  • Timepiece website Time and Tide identified it as a now-discontinued yellow gold Rolex GMT Master II.

Jason Kelce paid homage to the Philadelphia Eagles during his retirement press conference on Monday by wearing a Rolex watch in the team's colors.

According to the timepiece website Time and Tide, Kelce was sporting a now-discontinued yellow gold Rolex GMT Master II with a green dial and black bezel on his wrist. The watch model can sell from anywhere between $35,585 to $95,111 on the resale market.

The watch also bears sentimental value — it was specially commissioned for the team after the Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl in 2018, Kelce said during an episode of the "Green Light with Chris Long" podcast in February.

"Super Bowl rings aren't fun to wear. First of all, you feel kind of like a douche, a little bit, I feel like, when you're wearing it. It feels like you're like, 'Oh, look at me! I won a Super Bowl!'" Kelce said on the podcast.

He also shared that the ring gave him a blister because it's big and clunky on his finger.

"So we all decided — along with a couple other guys on the team — let's just have Rolexes made commemorating the Super Bowl," Kelce said. He can also be seen wearing the same watch during the podcast.

A representative for Kelce did not immediately respond to a request for comment sent outside regular business hours.
