Many celebrities have picked Sabyasachi's designs for their weddings. Priyanka Chopra's deep-red lehenga took 110 embroiderers from Kolkata 3,720 hours to make.

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt wore a hand-dyed ivory Sabyasachi sari for her wedding ceremony in April. Bhatt's gold jewelry, featuring uncut diamonds and hand-strung pearls, were designed by Sabyasachi too.

Sabyasachi is opening a flagship store in New York City's West Village this fall. Much like his clothing designs, his flagship stores are sumptuously decorated with tinted chandeliers, Kashmiri rugs, and traditional Indian paintings.
