From Priyanka Chopra to Bollywood actresses, countless celebrities have sought his designs.
Sabyasachi said the deserts, gypsies, and antique textiles of his home town, Kolkata, have been a lifelong inspiration.

Many celebrities have picked Sabyasachi's designs for their weddings. Priyanka Chopra's deep-red lehenga took 110 embroiderers from Kolkata 3,720 hours to make.

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt wore a hand-dyed ivory Sabyasachi sari for her wedding ceremony in April. Bhatt's gold jewelry, featuring uncut diamonds and hand-strung pearls, were designed by Sabyasachi too.
