Based on the works of Edgar Allan Poe, Netflix's new series "The Fall of the House of Usher" premieres on Thursday.
Mike Flanagan (of "The Haunting of Bly Manor," "The Haunting of Hill House," and other horror series) created the show, which is set in present day and follows the uber-successful Usher family, who own the drug empire Fortunato Pharmaceuticals, as they grapple with the murders of their relatives. Siblings Roderick and Madeline are the patriarch and matriarch of the Ushers, while their many children have varying interests in the company.

Bruce Greenwood plays Roderick Usher, the patriarch of the family

Roderick built the family's company into a powerful empire, but wasn't very affectionate to his children while they were growing up.
Greenwoood has appeared in numerous other projects, including J.J. Abrams' 2009 "Star Trek" film and Flanagan's 2017 adaptation of the Stephen King novel "Gerald's Game."
Mary McDonnell plays Madeline Usher, the matriarch of the Usher family

Madeline Usher is always supportive of her brother Roderick, but won't hesitate to push him to his limits.
Some of McDonnell's past credits include "Scream 4" and "Veronica Mars."
Ruth Codd plays Juno Usher

Codd portrays Juno, the young second wife of patriarch Roderick Usher, and a former drug addict.
Codd is a former TikToker who previously starred on Flanagan's teen horror series "The Midnight Club."
T'Nia Miller is Victorine Lafourcade, one of Roderick's illegitimate children

Miller's character is described by Netflix as being desperate for her father's affection, so much so that she even compromises her ethics while testing a new heart device.
Miller has appeared on numerous other shows, including "Sex Education" and Flanagan's "The Haunting of Bly Manor."
Rahul Kohli portrays Napoleon "Leo" Usher

One of the older Usher heirs, Leo has a crippling drug addiction that's only getting worse.
Kohli has previously appeared in several other of Flanagan's projects, including "The Haunting of Bly Manor" and "Midnight Mass."
Sauriyan Sapkota plays the youngest Usher child, Prospero "Perry" Usher

Perry is described as a carefree party boy who loves being a part of the ultra-wealthy class.

Samantha Sloyan plays Tamerlane Usher

Tamerlane has always been stuck in the shadow of the men in her family, causing her to forge her own path in a different industry.
Sloyan has appeared on shows like "Grey's Anatomy" and "Parks and Recreation," and starred in Flanagan's "Midnight Mass" and "The Midnight Club."
Mark Hamill plays the Usher family lawyer, Arthur Pym.

Hamill's character is the family's fixer, who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty.
Hamill is best known for his role as Luke Skywalker in the original "Star Wars" films. More recently, he's made appearances on "The Big Bang Theory "and "What We Do in the Shadows."
Kate Siegel portrays the family's head of PR, Camille L’Espanaye.

According to Netflix, Camille is "extremely cunning and biting," and is constantly thinking about ways to get ahead.
Siegel married Flanagan in 2016, and has starred in several of his projects, including "Hush," both "The Haunting of Hill House" and "The Haunting of Bly Manor," and "Midnight Mass."
Carla Gugino plays a mysterious woman from the Usher family's past.

Details about Gugino's character are sparse, but Netflix did share that she once had an earth-shattering encounter with Roderick and Madeline with far-reaching ramifications.
Like other stars of "The Fall of the House of Usher," Gugino has worked with Flanagan extensively, including on "Gerald's Game," both "Haunting" series, and "Midnight Mass."
