If you don't give "The Vince Staples Show" a watch, you'll be missing out. Rapper and actor Staples, who's been compared to Donald Glover, stars as a version of himself in this five-episode Netflix series. It's surreal and absurd but also very funny. And yes, there are definitely "Atlanta" vibes.

If you're a J.Lo fan, check out "This is Me… Now: A Love Story"
Jennifer Lopez in "This is Me… Now: A Love Story." Prime Video
Jennifer Lopez's hourlong musical movie, described by Business Insider senior music reporter Callie Ahlgrim as an "ambitious spectacle," ties into her new album of the same name.
The film's director told Ahlgrim that the idea was to tell an "abstract, Pink Floyd-like story" that functions as a "loose biopic that captures the essence of Jen."
If you're still confused about what any of that means, I suggest you stream it, then come back and check out Ahlgrim's full breakdown of the film's wildest details with the director here.

... or, for a completely different kind of musical, "The Color Purple" remake
Danielle Brooks and Fantasia in "The Color Purple." Eli Ade´/Warner Bros.
Warner Bros.' "The Color Purple" remake was virtually shut out at the Oscars, barring one nomination for Danielle Brooks in the supporting actress category. (Read more about why that might've been the case here.)
But the movie, which was the second film adaptation of Alice Walker's novel of the same name, is absolutely worth the watch now that it's streamable — it was well-received by critics and filled with powerhouse performances from the star-studded cast.

Check out Jon Stewart's return to "The Daily Show" if you missed it earlier this week
Jon Stewart is back. Comedy Central
Fans of "The Daily Show" were shocked (and mostly thrilled) when Comedy Central announced in January that longtime former host Jon Stewart would be returning to the show for its 29th season. Stewart, who was originally at the helm from 1999 to 2015, is back in the host chair on Monday nights only, amid the network's ongoing search for a permanent replacement for Trevor Noah, who departed in 2022.
Stewart didn't spare Trump or Biden in his first monologue back, a move that didn't sit well with everyone. His return, and the rest of this week's episodes hosted by "Daily Show" correspondents, are all available to stream now.

If you want reality dating show drama, watch the new season of "Love Is Blind"
Clay and AD on "Love Is Blind" season six. Netflix
Love triangles and tense conversations around the phrase "bean dip" abound in "Love Is Blind" season six. The first six episodes — half of the 12-episode season — dropped this week on Netflix. And if your chief complaint about season five was how few couples the cameras followed, you're in luck: Season six is packed to the gills with proposals. Whether many (or any) of those couples make it to the altar, however, remains to be seen.
