"The Golden Bachelor" star Theresa Nist has nothing but love for her fellow finalist Leslie Fhima — and thinks Leslie would be an amazing pick for the lead of the yet-to-be-confirmed spinoff series "The Golden Bachelorette."

"She would be a phenomenal 'Golden Bachelorette,'" Theresa said of Leslie during a December interview with Business Insider to promote her upcoming on-air nuptials.

While "The Golden Bachelorette" hasn't been officially announced yet (although ABC has all but confirmed it), both Theresa and her fiancé Gerry Turner (who starred on "The Golden Bachelor") expressed their support for Leslie, a rumored frontrunner who's said she'd be interested in the role, in the interview. Though they'd love to see Leslie in that role, both Theresa and Gerry noted that any woman from Gerry's season would be a great pick.

"We can picture so many of these women in that role," Theresa told BI. "There's so many reasons why Susan would be the best 'Golden Bachelorette,' or Ellen would be, or Faith would be."

"We would fully support and be so thrilled for whoever was chosen," she added.

Gerry, for his part, reiterated Theresa's point about how any of the women from his season could lead the spinoff.

"Fortunately, the casting group of ABC did a fantastic job putting my season together. I bet they would do just as fantastic a job picking a 'Golden Bachelorette' to start a new season," he told BI.

Is Leslie attending 'The Golden Wedding'?

Gerry and Theresa are set to tie the knot during a televised wedding special dubbed "The Golden Wedding" that airs Thursday on ABC.

While the two septuagenarians found their happily ever after, some viewers were surprised when Gerry picked Theresa over fan-favorite Leslie, leading to an emotional breakup between Gerry and Leslie.

On the December 4 episode of the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast, Leslie said that Gerry had all but proposed to her during their Fantasy Suites date, meaning that she was just as blindsided as everyone else when he broke things off to propose to Theresa.

When asked by BI about Leslie's version of events, Gerry steered the conversation back to his upcoming nuptials.

"Well, of course that's just part of the journey and part of the show, but really I more want to talk about our wedding and our wedding plans. So let's go back to that fun topic," he said.

Despite their messy ending, it seems like it's all water under the bridge now. Leslie, who recently underwent emergency surgery, has confirmed she's attending her ex's "Golden Wedding."

"I'm definitely on the mend. I'm feeling so much better, that now I get to go to the wedding," she said in a video shared to her Instagram story on Wednesday, per Entertainment Weekly. "I can't wait to support Gerry and Theresa on their beautiful day. I know it's going to be really, really amazing."

"The Golden Wedding" airs Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
