Frank Ocean has canceled his second performance at Coachella, which was originally slated for next Sunday.

Ocean headlined the music festival on Sunday, marking his first live show since 2017. The unconventional set left many fans disappointed, especially after it was cut short due to Coachella's midnight curfew. Ocean had arrived nearly an hour later to the stage than he was scheduled.

According to a representative for the "Blonde" singer, Ocean decided to drop out of the lineup for weekend two due to an injury.

The representative confirmed to Insider that Ocean suffered two fractures and a sprain in his left leg, causing a doctor to encourage his Coachella set to be scaled back or scrapped.

The rep also said he was "unable to perform the intended show" last Sunday, "but was still intent on performing, and in 72 hours, the show was reworked out of necessity. "

"It was chaotic. There is some beauty in chaos. It isn't what I intended to show but I enjoy being out there and I'll see you soon," Ocean said in the statement provided.

He also called the performance "fucking chaotic" while onstage. However, despite backlash online, streams for Ocean's music have increased since Coachella, Billboard reports.

Ocean last released music in 2022, when he dropped the standalone singles "Dear April" and "Cayendo." He hasn't released an album since "Blonde" in 2016.
