  • Makeup artist Pat McGrath revealed Doja covered her body with 30,000 hand-applied Swarovski crystals.

Doja Cat covered her body in 30,000 crimson Swarovski crystals while attending a Paris Fashion Week show.

On Sunday, Doja Cat showcased her bombastic style by arriving in head-to-toe crimson when she attended the Schiaparelli runway show. The event also attracted several other celebrities like Kylie Jenner and Balmain's creative director Olivier Rousteing.

The official Schiaparelli Instagram account revealed Doja's ensemble also featured a red silk faille bustier, a hand-knitted skirt with lacquered wooden beads, and Trompe l'œil toe boots.

Representatives for Schiaparelli did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment.

But the stand-out feature from Doja Cat's outfit was the handfuls of Swarovski crystals meticulously applied across her head, chest, back, and arms.

Famed makeup artist Pat McGrath was behind the glittering look, sharing with fans on Instagram that the entire process involved tens of thousands of crystals and took nearly five hours to complete.

"Doja's patience and commitment during the 4 hours and 58 minutes it took to create the look with #TeamPatMcGrath and I, which was covered in over 30,000 hand-applied @swarovski Crystals, was truly inspiring," McGrath wrote. "The final product was a magical, mesmerising masterpiece and a tribute to Doja Cat's hard work and dedication.

British Vogue also shared a time-lapse video showing the Swarovski crystals' application process, which began by placing a wig cap on Doja Cat before adding the color and crystals.

This isn't Doja Cat's first time pulling off bold looks at Paris Fashion Week.

In October 2022, Doja Cat attended the Monot Womenswear fashion show in dramatic blue and white face paint at Paris Fashion Week.
