Die-hard Eagles fan Rob McElhenney didn't let the Emmys stop him from watching the NFL playoffs

• But the actor put his fandom on display by streaming coverage of their game while at the Emmys.

If it wasn't clear before, it certainly is now: Rob McElhenney loves the Philadelphia Eagles — and he certainly wasn't going to miss watching their Monday night playoff game for another commitment.

McElhenney posted a picture of himself streaming pre-game coverage ahead of his team's clash with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers while attending the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles.

"Who schedules the Emmys the same night as the @eagles," the "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" star asked in a post on X, the social-media platform formally known as Twitter.

The Eagles are playing the Buccaneers away in Tampa Bay in a much-anticipated wild card showdown. It might be a long and agonizing few hours for McElhenney.
