- He does the stunts for real in the action movie "
Bullet Train ."
When you watch Brad Pitt's next movie, "Bullet Train," make sure to tell the person watching it next to you this fact: "Brad did most of his own stunts."
After winning an Oscar for playing a stuntman in Quentin Tarantino's "Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood," it turns out Pitt went and did the real thing for the hitman action movie based on Kōtarō Isaka's Japanese graphic novel "Maria Beetle."
"Brad did 95% of his physical stunts - the fighting," "Bullet Train" second-unit director and stunt coordinator Greg Rementer told Vulture. "He's like a natural-born athlete. He really got in there!"
Directed by David Leitch - who along with having directing credits like "John Wick," "Atomic Blonde," and "Deadpool 2" is also a former stuntman for Pitt - the movie stars the likes of Sandra Bullock, Michal Shannon, Joey King, Brian Tyree Henry, Zazie Beetz, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Bad Bunny who along with Pitt have major fight battles on a speeding train.
Rementer said Pitt's dedication to doing the stunts spread to the rest of the cast."Never have I ever done so many huge actors in one feature where all of them excelled at the physical movement of our training," he said. "So Brad, Brian, Michael Shannon, Hiroyuki Sonada, Andrew Koji - who was already a stud in terms of where he comes from with the show 'Warrior' - all these actors put out some great action and did a lot of their [own] stuff."
Leitch's action
Now Pitt will be the latest star to show off his fight moves thanks to Leitch. And we can't wait to see those training videos of how he pulled it off.
