“Mediclaim partly saved me, along with my savings; otherwise, it would have been very difficult,” he said. Despite the high costs, Parchure credited his family — his wife, daughter, and mother — for their unwavering support, describing them as his “three pillars” who never let him feel like a patient.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde remarked, “The untimely death of Atul Parchure is painful.
