Ashley and Tyler from 'Love Is Blind' have had the most drama-free relationship so far, but the preview teases there could be trouble ahead
  • "Love Is Blind" season seven features a cast of singles from the Washington, DC area.
  • Ashley and Tyler, two professionals in their 30s, are one of the seven couples to get engaged.

"Love Is Blind" is back — and in season seven, seven couples from the Washington, DC area made it out of the pods to meet face to face.

One of those couples is Tyler, a 34-year-old account manager, and Ashley, a 32-year-old marketing director. After getting engaged with remarkably little drama in the pods, they were one of six pairs that producers chose to follow on a post-engagement vacation to Mexico. We'll have to hold out to see if they make it to the altar, but for the moment, their odds don't look too bad.

It's a relatively dissonance-free storyline for Netflix's flagship dating series, which follows singles attempting to find love without meeting their prospective partners face-to-face. The reality show brings millions of eyes (per the platform's own numbers) to the streamer, helping to drive up Netflix's stock.

While other couples on this season of the show have become embroiled in drama, Ashley and Tyler are smooth and in-sync on camera.

Here's what we know about their relationship, and if they're still together.

Ashley and Tyler bond in the pods and make it to Mexico, but a teaser hints that trouble could be ahead.

In episode one, Ashley is enamored by Tyler's nerves on their first date. They also bond over their shared love of cooking and food, as well as the fact that they both used to ride horses.

In the same episode, Tyler opens up to Ashley about how hard his mother worked to raise him and his siblings after his grandmother died and his grandfather cut his mother off. As a result, he says, he wants to have a "big family" — someone with whom he could share his love.

The couple celebrates Tyler's birthday on a date in episode three. Tyler proposes to Ashley, and she accepts. Later in that episode, they meet in person for the first time — and luckily, producers choose them to take the post-engagement trip to Mexico with five of the other couples.

Unlike some of the other couples, Ashley and Tyler don't have any significant on-camera tension while on vacation. All in all, the first batch of episodes leaves their relationship in a good place.

Ashley and Tyler are still connected on social media

Tyler and Ashley don't get a lot of screen time in the preview for the next batch of episodes, but they do have a few moments that tease what's next for their relationship.

"I thought I knew love. I had no clue," Tyler says in voice-over dialogue during the preview. "And nothing I feel like is gonna tear us apart."

However, the preview also shows Ashley hinting at potential difficulties during a cryptic conversation with Alex.

Tyler and Ashley follow each other on Instagram and liked each other's posts featuring their cast portraits. And to his credit, Tyler is promoting the show on LinkedIn as well.

After the premiere, both Ashley and Tyler have reposted stories celebrating their relationship onto their own Instagram stories. They also both engaged with a clip on the Netflix Strong Black Lead social account from one of their dates.

Ashley reposted the clip on her story, commenting on her tendency to fidget with her foot: "Child me and that foot of mine have to have a talk."

Tyler also reposted the video on his Instagram story and commented on the post with three hand-heart emoji.

The next episodes of "Love Is Blind" season seven will air on Wednesday, October 9 on Netflix.
