The analytics company TVision Insights provided Insider with a list of the most binge-watched TV shows on streaming services in July, including both original and library titles.
The "binge rate" measures the proportion of time that viewers spent binge-watching a series (defined as three or more episodes in one sitting).
The list is based on an opt-in panel of 5,000 US homes, or around 13,000 people, and is census weighted.
The ranking doesn't necessarily account for shows with the highest viewership, but provides a snapshot of the shows viewers spent the highest proportion of time binge-watching.
TVision Insights also tracked "average size audience" (ASA), which more closely reflects viewership. We included each show's ASA ranking for context.
Apple's "Ted Lasso" has grown into a true word-of-mouth hit. It's No. 2 on the binge list and ranked No. 1 in ASA.
While "The Office" was binged plenty on Peacock, it ranked No. 122 in ASA, suggesting it could have had a bigger audience if it were still on Netflix.
