Calling all true crime fans: You could get paid $100 an hour to watch your favorite shows and post about the experience on social media.

Documentary streaming service MagellanTV recently put out a call seeking one aficionado of the genre to stream a 24-hour true crime marathon and document it online.

"Our ideal candidate lives for True Crime—they can handle the most menacing serial killer, the goriest details, and don't flinch at the chilling paranormal," the company said in the job post. "And they love it so much that they're willing to stream it nonstop for 24 hours. Along with watching, they'll be documenting their True Crime all-nighter on social media so everyone will see if they can hack it… or not."

The company has picked out the shows that will make up the watchathon. They include episodes of shows like "Murder Maps," "Behind Bars," and "Murder on the Internet."

Though the job is advertised as a 24-hour gig, the winner will actually have 48 hours to complete it. After checking off everything on the watchlist, the chosen candidate will get $100 an hour, for a total of $2,400, as well as a one-year free membership to MagellanTV, valued at $60. One hundred runner-ups will also get a free membership for a year.

Interested true crime fans can apply on MagellanTV's website, where they're asked to include their social media handles and elaborate on their interest in the genre. Candidates are also encouraged to submit a video explaining why they're perfect for the job.

Applicants must be US residents ages 18 and older and have at least one social media account. The deadline to apply is April 18, and the winner will be notified within 10 business days after that.

This is the third year in a row that MagellanTV has hired for this gig.
