- Rosamund Pike turned heads at the 2024 Golden Globes in a lace veil and black dress.
- But it's far from the first time the "Saltburn" star has shown love for bold fashion.
If Rosamund Pike's 2024 Golden Globes look proved anything, it's that she's not afraid to experiment with bold fashion.
Following her breakout role as Miranda Frost in the 2002 James Bond film "Die Another Day," Pike became a red-carpet regular, sporting everything from sheer dresses to fun accessories.
Here are some of Pike's most daring looks to date.
In 2007, the "Saltburn" star put a unique spin on the traditional tea dress during the 2007 Venice Film Festival.

Making the traditional silhouette of a tea-length dress daring is difficult to pull off, but that's exactly what Pike did at the 64th annual Venice Film Festival.
The champagne-colored Prada number reinvented the classic dress shape with an excess of asymmetric layers of fabric and ruched detailing. On close inspection, it also appears to reveal some delicate corset boning close to the waist.
After the success of "Gone Girl," Pike attended the 2015 Oscars in a sleeveless scarlet gown with a daring slit.

The custom-made Givenchy gown was strapless and embroidered with a floral pattern. The bodice featured two silk panels and a built-in cinched belt.
Pike paired the ruby-red gown with coordinating stilettos that poked out from the thigh-high slit at the front of the dress.
For her 2018 Berlin Film Festival debut, Pike opted for a groovy look in a fringed Givenchy ensemble.

Pike attended the festival to promote her 2018 film "7 Days in Entebbe."
She made a bold entrance in a Givenchy look consisting of a fringed multitiered skirt, a chunky belt, and a turtleneck.
What made the outfit so memorable, though, was the ombré feathered coat, which added a funky pop of orange to her ivory ensemble.
She paid homage to the fantasy element of "The Wheel of Time" in an ethereal sheer gown, accessorized with a cap and metallic belt.

The asymmetric light-gray Dior dress, which Pike appeared to wear over a bodysuit, was cinched with a chunky gold belt.
The wispy fabric choice and bold accessories leaned into the fantasy aspect of "Wheel of Time," proving that Pike isn't afraid to weave elements of the projects she's involved in into her red-carpet style.

The daring dress featured a fringed neckline, wispy sleeves, exposed corset boning, and a dramatic multilayered skirt.

The floor-length puffy coatdress was short-sleeved and layered over a collared white shirt and tie. Pike added a twist by accessorizing with chunky boots and a delicate veil decorated with silver beads.
"It's made of padded fabric but cut like a classic Dior New Look 1940s dress," Pike said of the dress in an interview with Harper's Bazaar. "The combination is that lovely tightrope of classic and modernity, which I love."

All eyes were on Pike at the 2024 Golden Globes when she arrived in a semi-sheer black Dior dress accessorized with an eye-catching lace veil, which she said she initially added to cover her "smashed up" face from a recent skiing accident.
"It's a protective veil for the occasion," Pike told Variety's Marc Malkin at the event.
Even though the bruising disappeared by the time of the awards show, Pike chose to wear it anyway, saying she "kind of fell in love with the look" and that it channeled her quirky "Saltburn" character Elspeth Catton.
"Either a sort of weird funeral vibe or maybe she wore black for her wedding," Pike said.
