The sequel follows Wade Wilson/Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) as he gets pulled from his reality into the Marvel Cinematic Universe by the Time Variance Authority – the organization from the "Loki" TV series that keeps the timeline in order.
While the Super Bowl trailer didn't reveal too much about the sequel, it did show off a few key Easter eggs and references to various "X-Men" and "Avengers" movies.
