Whether it comes from a photo, a joke from a coworker, or even a TikTok, laughter is a universal language that offers a variety of benefits.

Laughter releases powerful "feel-good chemicals" like serotonin, oxytocin, dopamine, and endorphins, which promote feelings of cooperation, teamwork, and calmness. As a result, laughter can also be a powerful tool in the workplace

"Teams who laugh and joke together tend to be better able to open up and share challenges with each other — which is particularly important for coping with stress and enhancing creative problem solving," Bruce Daisley, former VP at Twitter EMEA, wrote in his book, "Eat Sleep Work Repeat: 30 Hacks for Bringing Joy to Your Job," which Business Insider excerpted in 2020.

Invented in the 19th century, the "mass shaving machine" can shave a dozen men simultaneously, Big Think reported. Eric Sykes, an English comedian, demonstrated the device on an unaired pilot for a TV series about 1800s innovations.

It's hard to say what's funnier about this photo — the outfits or the snow.
