- Here are the stars who welcomed newborns (or revealed the births of their babies) this year, so far.
"Harry Potter" alum Devon Murray and girlfriend Shannon McCaffrey Quinn welcomed a baby boy on January 2.
"My life changed forever," Murray, who played Seamus Finnigan in the "HP" movies, wrote.
The couple's son named Cooper Michael Murray was born weighing 6 points, 10 ounces.
"It still hasn't sunk in just yet that we have our very own little boy," Murray said. "I can't wait to make the most amazing memories with Shannon and Cooper as we begin our little family. I'm so amazed by Shannon and she is now my Hero. I'm so proud of her for everything she has gone through."
"Dancing With the Stars" pro Witney Carson gave birth to her first child with husband Carson McAllister.
Carson announced the birth of their child with a black-and-white photo shared on Instagram.
"After a really hard 24-hour labor, and an unexpected C-section... we are all healthy and well," she wrote. "We are so grateful & we've been soaking up every moment with our perfect angel boy. Thank you for all the prayers!"
Carson, who wed McAllister in 2016, shared additional photos and videos documenting her childbirth experience. The professional dancer also revealed that the couple named their son Kevin Leo McAllister in honor of "his grandpa who sent him down to us."
"My little Leo, I love you more than words can express," she said of her son, who was born on January 3. "You are the most precious gift. My life will forever be changed by your sweet spirit. Welcome to the world Leo."
"Vanderpump Rules" star Stassi Schroeder welcomed her first child with husband Beau Clark.
According to People, the couple's daughter named Hartford Charlie Rose Clark was born at 6:57 p.m. on January 7.
"We truly cannot begin to describe the happiness and joy we are feeling at this moment," the couple told People. "It's something that you hear from all new parents right after birth, but something magical happens."
Schroeder and Clark revealed in June 2020 that they were expecting their first child together. They wed months later, in October.
"9-1-1" star Ryan Guzman and fiancée Chrysti Ane welcomed baby No. 2.
The news came as a surprise to fans, as the couple didn't previously indicate that they were expecting a child.
"Well world, I think it's time I make a confession....I've been pregnant for basically this entire quarantine," Ane captioned a photo of the couple and their baby that was shared on January 7.
"We welcomed our little lady Genevieve Valentina Guzman into the world today at 3:50 p.m.," Ane continued. "Ry and I decided to be a little selfish this time around and keep this journey between us. I'm so happy we did that. It was so special."
Guzman shared the same photo in black-and-white on his Instagram, along with a note for his newborn.
"Welcome to this crazy world mi hijita. Your mom, brother, and me are so happy you finally blessed us with your presence. Remember your family has your back por siempre," he wrote.
The couple's newborn joins son Mateo Lopes Guzman, who was born in January 2019.
"Gossip Girl" actress Jessica Szohr gave birth to her first child with husband Brad Richardson on January 11.
"Added a little special sweetness to our family and some new directions to our journey on 1-11-21," Szohr captioned a black-and-white photo of their baby's hands.
Szohr and the hockey player have been linked since early 2019. Baby Bowie Ella Richardson is the first child for the actress and the second for Richardson, who shares a daughter named Lexi with ex Lauren Hunt.
"This journey with Brad and Lexi has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life," Szohr said in the caption of her Instagram post. "To then create a human that is absolutely perfect in our eyes and put a feeling in my heart I didn't know existed is beyond words. I have all the feels and she is really something special."
Reality TV star Khadijah Haqq McCray and husband Bobby McCray are now a family of six.
"We love you baby girl, you complete our family! When 5 becomes 6," Haqq McCray, who's a close friend of Khloe Kardashian, captioned a photo of the family members' hands.
The former "Dash Dolls" star didn't include her newborn's name in her post, but in a previous post about her baby shower, Haqq McCray said that they planned on naming their daughter Kapri.
Haqq McCray has been married to McCray, a former NFL star, since 2010. They share a son named Christian and a daughter named Celine. McCray also has a son named Bobby Louis McCray III from a prior relationship.
Josh Hartnett revealed that he and partner Tamsin Egerton actually welcomed their third child back in late 2019.
The "Peal Harbor" star, who's generally tight-lipped about his private life, revealed the detail during an interview with Mr. Porter that was published in January 2021.
"The thing I am most proud of is that I'm a father of three and I have a good relationship with my partner and a great family life and I'm still able to do good work," Hartnett told the publication.
The couple's third child joins their two children who were born in 2015 and 2017. Hartnett and Egerton have yet to reveal the names of their kids.
Singer Kelly Rowland gave birth to baby No. 2 with husband Tim Weatherspoon.
Rowland shared the news in late January, posting a photo of the couple's 6-year-old son named Titan Jewell Weatherspoon smiling at the newborn.
"On the 21st day, of the 21st year, of the 21st Century, Noah Jon Weatherspoon Greeted us!" she captioned the image. "We are truly grateful."
Rowland also said that baby Noah was born on January 21 at 8:13 p.m. weighing 7 pounds and 8 ounces.
"Riverdale" star welcomed her first child, a son, with estranged husband Michael Kopech.
E! News was the first to report the news in late January. A few days later, Morgan confirmed the news with an Instagram post and called childbirth "the most challenging, beautiful experience of my life."
"On January 29th, Michael & I Welcomed our beautiful baby boy River into the world," the actress said. "Words cannot describe this kind of love. We are enjoying this time home with him, being present, & giving him all the lovin in the world."
"Becoming parents is the most rewarding gift in the entire world," she said.
In a post shared on her Instagram story, Morgan explained the origin of her baby boy's name.
"Early on in my pregnancy I was walking the River every day, gave me so much peace I knew that was the perfect name for his lil soul," she said. "Plus Michael & I really wanted a nature name."
Morgan and Kopech started dating in 2018 and wed in Homestead, Florida on January 4, 2020. The "Riverdale" star announced her pregnancy in July of that year and days later, E! News reported that Kopech filed for divorce in June.
Food Network star Duff Goldman and wife Johnna became parents.
Baby Josephine Frances Goldman was born on January 31, the chef shared in a heartfelt Instagram post.
"I have no words to describe this blessing," Duff said, calling Josephine "the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in the whole world."
"Some friends have told me that the love I'll experience when looking at my daughter will be different than anything I've ever experienced and they were totally right," the "Kids Baking Championship" host said.
Duff also praised Johnna (who he married in 2019), calling her strong and natural and intuitive."
"I have the two best ladies in the whole world," he added.
In February, actress Jenny Slate revealed that she and fiancé Ben Shattuck welcomed their first child together.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight in February, Slate said that she gave birth to a baby girl named Ida Lupine.
When asked about the significance of the moniker, the "Venom" star said that she and Shattuck simply liked the name Ida and her middle name was inspired by their favorite flower.
"Being a mother is such a joy," Slate said. "It's so cliché but I love it."
The "Venom" star and Shattuck got engaged in Franch in September 2019. Slate revealed her pregnancy during a virtual appearance on "Late Night With Seth Meyers" in December 2020.
"Big Mouth" star and co-creator Nick Kroll and wife Lily Kwong became parents in January, two months after tying the knot.
Kwong shared a photo of the newborn on Instagram with the caption: "Welcome to the world little one - our beautiful baby boy joined us earthside on 1/21/21. Our hearts are full."
Kwong first revealed that she and the actor were expecting their first child in October 2020 by posting a photo of her belly.
The following month, Kroll posted a Polaroid of the couple exchanging vows during a private ceremony.
"So very thankful for @lily_kwong," he captioned the photo.
Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank welcomed their first child on February 9.
The couple's son was born at The Portland Hospital in London, per a statement released by Buckingham Palace.
"Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie was safely delivered of a son today, 9th February 2021, at 08.55 hrs at The Portland Hospital. Jack Brooksbank was present," a Buckingham Palace spokesperson said in a statement obtained by Insider. "The baby weighs 8lbs 1oz."
The royal went on to share a black-and-white photo of the newborn's hand with hers and Brooksbank's, captioning it with three blue heart emojis and two exclamation points.
Former Victoria's Secret Angel Elsa Hosk gave birth to a baby girl named Tuulikki Joan Daly with partner Tom Daly on February 11.
"Happiest day of my life meeting you," Hosk wrote on Instagram. "Proudest moment in my life giving birth to you."
Hosk also explained that the couple's child was "named after two strong women, my mom and my grandma-in-law.
"You came into this world like super-woman with your fist next to your face," the model added. "We will love you forever, baby Tuuli."
Hosk also shared an essay (divided into six parts) on Instagram, speaking candidly about the difficulties of childbirth.
Hosk said that she and Daly decided to have a home birth, in water and without drugs.
She said that she experienced painful contractions and she was in labor for hours.
"Birthing is really confronting yourself, your fears and doubts and coming through the other side," she wrote. "It's the worst pain, fear, and darkness I've ever experienced in those moments."
The model said that after giving birth, she felt "overwhelmed with love, proudness, happiness."
"The room shifted from what felt like a horror movie darkness into a light sun-filled dream," she added.
"All About That Bass" singer Meghan Trainor and "Spy Kids" star Daryl Sabara became parents to a baby boy named Riley.
"This sweet baby boy's due date was today on Valentine's Day," Trainor captioned a series of photos of the newborn. "We got to meet him Monday, Feb 8th! We are SO IN LOVE."
"Thank you @darylsabara for the best Valentine's gift ever!" she added. "Welcome to the world Riley!"
In his own Instagram post, Sabara called the singer — who he wed in December 2018 — "my forever Valentine and I'm so beyond grateful for you bringing our son into the world."
"Victorious" star Daniella Monet gave birth to baby No. 2 with fiancé Andrew Gardner.
Daughter Ivry Monet was born weighing 8 pounds and 8 ounces, the actress shared on Instagram.
In her post, Monet said that she's "been on a high ever since" giving birth.
Monet and Garner got engaged in December 2017 after more than five years together. The couple welcomed their first child together, son Gio James, in September 2019.
"Uncut Gems" star Julia Fox surprised fans when she revealed that she gave birth during the pandemic.
Fox shared images from her nude pregnancy photoshoot in February and said that her son, her "forever valentine" named Valentino, was born on January 17.
"The best day of my life," she said.
The actress also said that the photos were taken at the last minute because she was informed that she'd be giving birth earlier than expected because of "some blood pressure issues."
Fox captioned one of the photos, "We ❤️ daddy," but hasn't disclosed who the father of her child is.
She was previously in a relationship with Peter Artemiev, but told GQ in May 2020 that they were no longer together and she was in the process of filing for divorce.
Professional surfer Bethany Hamilton welcomed her third child, a son, with husband Adam Dirks.
The pair, who have been married since 2013, shared the news on Hamilton's website in February.
"BIG News!!! Our 3rd child was born on Valentine's Day!" Dirks wrote, adding that their newborn is named Micah.
"It's an amazing blessing… the birthing process and the miracle of life that God has given," he said. "We are humbled and thankful that we get another opportunity to raise a son in his faith. Hopefully we can be good examples and love on him."
Baby Micah joins the couple's two sons named Tobias and Wesley.
"Game of Thrones" costars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie reportedly welcomed their first child together.
According to E! News, Leslie gave birth over Valentine's Day weekend.
A representative for Harington told E! News that the pair welcomed a baby boy and are "very very happy!"
The actors played on-screen couple Jon Snow and Ygritte on three seasons of "GoT." Harington and Leslie got married on June 23, 2018, after dating for several years.
Leslie revealed her pregnancy in a September 2020 cover story and accompanying photoshoot for the UK's Make Magazine.
