You know the old saying – stars, they're just like us. They make trips to the grocery store, they go for jogs around town (though somehow end up looking far less sweaty) — and they also have moments of pure, unadulterated fangirling.
Here are some hilariously delightful times celebrities were starstruck by other famous people.
Read the original article on Insider"Parasite" director Bong Joon Ho used his Oscars acceptance speech to tell everyone how much he loves Martin Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino.
"Parasite" won four Oscars, including best director and best picture, and perhaps no one was more surprised than director Bong Joon Ho.
His acceptance speeches contained several jokes about how much he was going to drink after the show, but even more touching than his cheerful humility was his tribute to directing legends Martin Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino during his speech for best director.
Joon Ho started the speech by sharing a Scorsese quote that he studied in film school and expressing the honor it was to be nominated with him.
"When I was young and studying cinema there was a saying that I carved deep into my heart, which is 'The most personal is the most creative,'" Joon Ho said, according to his translator. "That quote was from our great Martin Scorsese."
He went on to thank Tarantino for promoting "Parasite" when it was still relatively unknown in the US. "Quentin, I love you," Joon Ho added, in English.
He ended his speech by saying he wishes he could get a Texas chainsaw and split his trophy into five pieces to share with all the directors nominated in the category.
