October is in full swing, and there are even more scary movies and shows to check out this weekend.

On the film front, there's "Caddo Lake," about the mysterious disappearance of an 8-year-old girl, and "Mr. Crocket," about a demonic children's TV show host. The show "Teacup," from "The Conjuring" director James Wan, also premiered this week.

If you're not up for horror despite the season, there are plenty of other options to stream, including the return of the teen drama "Outer Banks," Ella Purnell's new dark dramedy "Sweetpea," and the sports docuseries "Starting 5."
