On Monday, May 6, some of the world's biggest stars will gather in New York City for the Met Gala.

The "Oscars of the East" is a fundraising event to benefit the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute — in 2023, it raised nearly $22 million. Now, as seasoned attendees like Zendaya and Emma Chamberlain prepare to grace the carpet for "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion" on May 6, it's worth a reminder that even the most glamorous of stars aren't immune to awkward moments, even at major events like the Met.
