  • Fans have gathered in New York and Los Angeles to pay tribute to "Friends" star Matthew Perry.
  • Perry was found dead at his Los Angeles home at age 54 on October 28.

"Friends" fans are paying tribute to Matthew Perry in New York and Los Angeles after his sudden death in late October.

Multiple publications, including People and TMZ, reported that Perry's family conducted a private funeral for the TV star last week, which was attended by all his "Friends" costars.

The funeral took place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles, per People.

Following Perry's death, fans flocked to the building used as the exterior of the famous apartment block in "Friends."

While the inside of the building in "Friends" was filmed on a soundstage, the exterior was filmed in Manhattan.

Perry shared several posts about Batman on Instagram and mentioned the character in his memoir before his death.
