Mysuru’s King Yaduveer Wadiyar ties knot with Rajasthan royalty. Here’s a sneak peek into the big fat royal wedding

The wedding was held between 9.05am and 9.35am

The bride is from Rajasthan but the rituals were performed as per Mysuru royal family customs and traditions

The wedding ceremony was held at the 'Kalyana Mandapa' of the Mysore Palace.

The rituals were conducted by more than a dozen temple priests and witnessed by 200 guests and family members

Yaduveer could not control his tears while offering floral tribute to his foster father Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar who died in December 2013.

Mysuru Palace will witness a royal wedding after 40 years. It was in 1976 when Maharaja Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar married Pramoda Devi.

Yaduveer was presented with an umbrella, a pair of slippers, a book, a walking stick for Kashi yatra by his in-laws

Famous city-based violinists Mysuru Manjunath and Mysuru Nagaraj who performed at the wedding created a new raga, or tune for the occasion
