The Bollywood film to have cast the maximum number of British artists is Lagaan, which released in 2001.

The first Indian to win an Oscar was Bhanu Athaiya, a costume designer, who worked for Gandhi. She got the award in 1982.

Hollywood actor Tom Cruise was the first choice to play the character of Raj Malhotra in the 1995 movie Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayengey. The role was also offered to Saif Ali Khan but finally went to Shah Rukh Khan, who immortalised the character.

Jagdish Raj, a Bollywood actor, holds the Guinness World Record for playing a police inspector in 144 films. He is also the father of Indian actress Anita Raj.

Lastly, the iconic dialogue Yenna Rascala, which has been associated with superstar Rajinikanth for a long time, was never even spoken by the actor.
