Here's how the 'Harry Potter' characters look years later in a new play
MOVIES: Harry Potter was played by Daniel Radcliffe. For a decade, we watched Radcliffe grow up on-screen while playing everyone's favorite orphaned wizard.
PLAY: Harry will be played by actor Jaime Parker. J.K. Rowling told Pottermore that "there's a kind of relief in watching him, he gets it so right."

MOVIES: Ginny Weasley was played by Bonnie Wright. At the end of the final film, she and Harry were married with three children.
PLAY: Actress Poppy Miller will take the stage as Ginny Weasley when the previews of the play start June 7. Her cast photo shows that she'll sport the signature Weasley red hair.
MOVIES: Albus Severus Potter was played by Arthur Bowen, who was cast due to his resemblance to Radcliffe. Last we saw him, he was expressing concern about which house he would be sorted into at Hogwarts.
PLAY: Sam Clemmett will play Albus in 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.' Rowling didn't say much about Clemmett and his character other then, "we couldn't have cast better."

MOVIES: Rupert Grint offered comic relief as Ron Weasley even in the darkest times of the films. His love for Hermione eventually led to their marriage and the Granger-Weasley family.
PLAY: Paul Thornley will play Ron Weasley on stage. Rowling said we shouldn't expect Ron to have changed too much. "Ron in his forties isn't very different from Ron in his teens," she said.

MOVIES: Emma Watson played the brainy and practical Hermione throughout the films. She was called the 'brightest witch for her age' and was born to muggle parents.
PLAY: Hermione is played by Noma Dumezweni, who has an extensive history in theater and won an Olivier award in 2006 for her performance in "A Raisin in the Sun." J.K. Rowling said she was overjoyed when John Tiffany, the play's director, said he would cast Dumezweni.

MOVIES: Rose Granger-Weasley was played by 12-year-old Helena Barlow. She only makes a short appearance as her mother, Hermione (Emma Watson), hugs her goodbye before she heads off to her first year at Hogwarts.
PLAY: Rose Granger-Weasley will be played by Cherrelle Skeete. "I can’t think about how big it is or I’ll just faint," she told Pottermore. The character takes after her mother as a clever young witch.

MOVIES: Draco Malfoy was played by Tom Felton. The blonde bully was constantly threatening to tell his father about the happenings at Hogwarts. Draco married Astoria Greengrass and had a child, Scorpius, who will attend Hogwarts with Albus and Rose.
PLAY: Alex Price will take the stage as an adult Draco Malfoy. You can spot his blonde ponytail in his portrait, similar to the one worn by his father Lucius in the films.
MOVIES: Scorpius didn't make much of an appearance in the final film. Only the back of his head was shown as his parents hugged him goodbye before putting him on the train to Hogwarts.
PLAY: Scorpius has a much larger role in 'Cursed Child.' He's played by Anthony Boyle who has an extensive background in theater. J.K. Rowling hinted at a character trait of Scorpius' in an interview with Pottermore: "I've got a feeling Scorpius is going to do nothing to turn girls off the Malfoy men."
